Ronny graduated from a 4-year comprehensive program of study in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and holds a diploma from the prestigious Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego, California. He is the Director of the TCM programs at the SSC and instructs in many classes in both the Acupuncture and Shiatsu Programs.
He has a clinical track record of thousands of successful treatments for various medical conditions. His fields of expertise cover acupuncture, herbs, nutrition and tuina.
Tony Tavares completed acupuncture training programmes at both the Canadian branch of the Beijing Capital University of Medical Sciences and the Institute of Traditional Medicine. He has also completed the Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine diploma program with the Canadian branch of the Beijing Capital University of Medical Sciences.
Tony's background includes experience as a yoga instructor, fitness consultant and Reiki Master. He is trained in Tuina, Shiatsu and Ayurvedic bodywork and modalities.
He is currently residing in Norwood, Ontario and teaching at the Toronto and Peterborough Campuses of the Shiatsu School of Canada – SSC Acupuncture Institute.
